What once began as a modest display of lawn decorations has morphed into an expansive attraction known as the “Haunted Halloween Holler.” Located at 546 Middleridge Road, the site boasts a whimsical array of spooky figures that captivate both children and their families.

“I’ve been doing this in my yard for 30 years and it just continues to grow each fall,” says Lewis, reflecting on her commitment to bringing fun to local youth. “We’ve continued to add stuff over the years and the newest attractions we have are a Spider Patch and Pumpkin Patch.”

In addition to these new attractions, visitors can enjoy a delightful Corn Field Maze and a traditional Haunted House, sprawling across two acres packed with Halloween delights. This annual event embodies the spirit of community, providing entertainment that is not just engaging, but also completely free.

Lewis expressed her motivation behind creating the Haunted Halloween Holler, stating, “We started doing this because the kids around here don’t have anything for Halloween. And what is around here is expensive, so I don’t charge anything to get in.” This approach emphasizes her desire to foster joy and creativity among children, regardless of their background.

This year’s festivities have already drawn significant crowds, with over 100 attendees last Saturday alone. Lewis shares that the display includes 14 life-sized giants—yard ornaments that tower over 8 to 12 feet tall, adding a dramatic effect to the Halloween ambiance. As Halloween approaches, Lewis warmly invites families to visit post-trick-or-treating. “I always tell the kids to come after they get done trick-or-treating on Halloween.
